War Machines RTS – Download
War Machines RTS (WMRTS) is a free, independent project developed by molixx81 as a labor of love for the RTS community. Please note that this is a non-commercial hobbyist project; while I strive for the best quality, it may contain minor bugs.
The game launcher (WMRTS.exe) and installer (WMRTS_Installer.exe) are created using Clickteam Fusion 2.5. Because this is an indie software without a commercial digital certificate, Windows Defender or other Antivirus/Firewalls may flag the files as “potentially harmful” or “unknown”.
This is a false positive. The files are safe. If Windows blocks the execution, click on “More info” and then “Run anyway”.
Option 1: Full Game (.zip package)
Recommended if your browser or firewall blocks .exe downloads.
Instructions:

Accept the terms of use.

Download the .zip archive.

Extract the content into a folder of your choice (using WinZip, 7-Zip, or WinRAR).

To play, simply open the folder and launch WMRTS.EXE.
Option 2: Standalone Installer (.exe)
Faster initial download. It will automatically download the rest of the game files upon launch.
Instructions:

Accept the terms of use.

Download and run WMRTS_Installer.exe.

Follow the setup to install the basic files on your computer.

Launch the game via WMRTS.EXE. On the first run, the client will automatically check for updates and download any missing game assets.

Note: If your antivirus blocks the download or the execution, please use the .zip package provided above.
