Upgrade 100.4.7.7.4 out!

New game upgrade released!
You can download the last version of the game here!
If you already installed the game, upgrade start automatically when you launch the game!

Major upgrade

  • Added “Score System”. Now players have levels & experience score. Win = 100 points. Lose = -50 Points

Other upgrades – bug fixes

  • Client: Fix bug: sometime the system is slow or don’t load correctly during check of players settings
  • Game: Changed default feature max view distance
  • Game: Converted units definition from .fbi to .lua
  • Game: Fix bug: Update app doesn’t delete some old files and there are some conflicts (specially play on old maps)
  • Game: Fix bug: -ICU- Decade doesn’t shoot
  • Game: Fix bug: -ICU- Patroller haven’t wreckage
  • Game: Fix bug: Can’t select Advanced Commanders (kickstarter user) by pressing ctrl+c
  • Maps: Orbital Station One -> Fix bug: Units can walk on space -_-
  • Maps: Orbital Station One -> Fix bug: map objects haven’t wreckage

War Machines RTS Discord server is now online

I created the War Machines Channel on Discord. This channel will be our community, you can join, talk or write about the game, organize gameplay with friends and ask help. There are some VOIP room in wich you can speak with friends during gameplay (withouth installing anything) and all entirely free!

New game upgrade released!

Major upgrade

  • Units detected are represented by the new icons
     
  • New map released for skirmish: Orbital Station One – 64×32 Km

Other upgrades – bug fixes

  • Client: Change AI name in Skirmish boxes
  • Client: Change AI team number (at the moment all the slot are allied on team 0 as default. If you forget to set different team numbers during game setting , all the AI and players play in the same alliance, and the game end instantaneously)
  • Client: When you start singleplayer skirmish one time, to start second time you must exit to menù and re-enter into skirmish page. Now this bug is solved.
  • Game: Added missing “Campbell” unit in ICU side
  • Game: Added missing “Warhammer” unit in ICU side
  • Game: Added some ICU and NFA missing ships and submarines
  • Maps: Port Island -> correct starting position of 6th player
  • Maps: Throne -> overturned the map. Added normal maps/bump texture. Correct starting positions of all players

Early Access version available for download!

We are almost ready!

We have completed the work related to the remake of the basic Total Annihilation units (remodeling + retexturing). We have added to our game scripts created by the Spring community that add visual effects and functionalities. We have created the client that includes the different menu options, from which is possible to play in skirmish modality against the AI or against other players. At the moment only direct connection via IP is available. If our crowdfunding on Kickstarter.com is successful, we will be able to add a server dedicated to the WMRTS community where it will be possible to create rooms and real-time games. While we wait for the Kickstarter campaign to be over, the team is going to improve the game fixing bugs (please keep in mind that currently it is early access version) and will focus on the single player mini-campaign.

We are finally at an advanced stage of development and we can publish the first gameplay recorded on the Akilon map (16×16) played by 2 humans VS 3 AI. Enjoy!
